Blog and forum comments for participation and to establish connection

‘Blog comments’ - how effective are these for search engine page rankings?

Comments, notes on blogs and articles of others, feedback, opinions and reviews do help to establish a relationship with the writer. We can consider this an online ‘trust building exercise’.

The Internet domain is not different from the real-life world, where ‘real communication’ and social relationships matter the most. To create or run a weblog (along with a website) will be a better idea for businesses to stay connected with people.

No wonder, for online success – business enterprises not just maintain websites but also ‘blog pages’, to drive web-traffic through different sources and means.

Why not blog regularly and stay connected with the customer segment, in a better manner?

Some say their blog comments take time for approval (comment moderation). The reasons are obvious – SPAM. Google web-spam team may chase your sites. Thus, try to avoid spam posts/comments by all means and keep search engines less polluted.

Inclusion of Sitemaps to help search engines decipher the website structure

It takes efforts to maintain online business in the competitive marketplace. People often ask us why Google does not index their website or slow to file/register their website in its directory.

Google is an automated search engine - and one does not require ‘manually’ submitting their websites to it. Try to include Sitemaps (an XML file/Extensible Markup Language) that help Google crawlers/robots to visit and index your website URL.

Google does not guarantee that the search engine will list all website URLs. Inclusion of Sitemaps helps to make spiders/crawlers comprehend the website structure.

In case after a site or URL modification/changes, one can update Google webmaster by submission of their website through the following, to ask the search engine crawl your page/website:

Natural link building after Google Penguin 2.0

After Penguin 2.0 updates, everyone feels – link exchange is a BAD idea.

Link building online (virtual bonds) or real-life bonding with human beings works the same way.

As the adage goes - A person is KNOWN by the company he keeps. The concept is nothing different with Google and websites that link from one to the other.

One should build up links with websites that are relevant to one’s website. A wrong company or inappropriate website (with spam) will be of no use to anyone.

Google is not in opposition to natural link building, but SPAM websites. To solicit links through payment to increase page rank is illegal, and Google web-spam team may argue and take action against such websites.

On the other, if websites provide relevant content to the Internet users, and have natural inbound links from others (without any payment) then Google should have no problem with websites.

Matt and the web-spam team of Google are after unnatural and paid links. What do readers think about it?

Better web-pages help!

After Google panda and penguin updates, people are more careful with everything on the Internet.

Search engine visibility is important, and one should try out ethical SEO practices to not get banned by Google.

It is best to not ignore web-design rules, and try to build/develop better web-pages for users.

An easy to surf website with relevant information/data can work wonders with the Internet users, than anything else.

Good layout and design is important while designing a website:
  • The site should be easy to - find, navigate and read.
  • The data should be quick to download.

For a successful SEO campaign, a website needs nurturing and time, then success will follow.

Web Listings Inc - flexible solutions

The World Wide Web has tremendous opportunities for everyone; a well-designed and user-friendly website can do wonders for everyone.

With stiff competition in the business market, one should never overlook the need of optimizing one’s websites for search engines, because to JUST have products/services would never bring in visitors to one's business, if people do not know whether the company exists or not, at the first place.

In this fast-paced life, everyone relies mostly on search engines to search for things they need; and if a company's website does not rank in popular search engines, it may miss great opportunities in the market.

Therefore, one should ensure that their website has been professionally made, is user-and-search engine friendly by all means, because majority of the online users never care to visit the 3rd, 4th or other pages in search engine page results, and just prefer to stick with mostly 1st, or the 2nd page.

So, it is very important to have one's website ranked in the first-page of popular search engines; and here comes in picture - search engine optimizers/SEO companies like Web Listings Inc that know the ins and outs of search engines and the ever-changing algorithms.

They can help one rank higher on Google and other search engines, and get more traffic to their websites; with millions of users visiting the web-world, DAILY, and searching for this and that on Google and other portals - one should understand the importance of search engine optimization for their online business, and need to work out with professional SEO tactic to get their websites ranked, for more visibility and more hits.
